It is the responsibility of Shih Tzu by Michelle to deliver a clean, healthy, very well socialized puppy, with a health certificate that accompanies your puppy with all their paper work . We do our very best to go to the extreme to accommodate our clients, always.
While we believe our dogs are excellent quality, we make no guarantees, expressed or implied, of their show ability or adult weight or height. All of our puppies are sold as pet quality. While our "guesstimates" are usually accurate, weights are impossible to guarantee.
In the event the litter registration process takes longer than normal, the papers for your puppy will be mailed to you as soon as we receive them back. New York State Law provides 120 days, plus an additional 60 days.
Each puppy is given a Physical Examination by a Licensed Veterinarian at our expense within days before it is given to its new owners.
We guarantee the puppy to be free from Communicable Diseases for a period of two weeks from the date of delivery to you.
If your puppy displays any indication of poor health you must contact us expeditiously for consultation regarding its condition and treatment.
Failure to do so will cause this guarantee to become null and void. Our puppies come to you with all current shots. We treat our puppies for Coccidia prevention. You are to provide all necessary further care (and vaccinations) at your expense, as prescribed by your licensed veterinarian.
We guarantee our puppies for one year from date of birth against any life-threatening congenital genetic or hereditary disease...
In the event your puppy should develop a condition that dates back to the fetal stage and this condition would severely impact the quality of life short of euthanasia, we will give you a replacement puppy of equal value or your money back, depends on the individual situation.
We do not provide a weight and color guarantee. All we can do is guess/estimate (and usually correctly, but)... adult size judging by the pup's weight at time of sale, size of parents and past litters. We do our very best to be within a two-pound range, but weight is something that we cannot control. Exercise, eating habits and metabolism determine weight and size. You will be responsible for picking up of your dog. Since Shih tzu's do lighten at times its really hard to guarantee color.
Our guarantee is to the person purchasing the puppy and expires if/when the puppy is transferred to another party. Replacement of a puppy is subject to the availability of another litter which could take up to a year.
This guarantee and policy information supersedes any other information you may have received and when you purchase a puppy from us you agree to these terms and conditions.
Please be advised, that Shih Tzu by Michelle. Does not sell breeding dogs. All pups are to be sold as spoiled pets, with limited AKC papers unless special arrangements were made.
We Reserve the right to cancel any sale, at any time while a puppy in still in our possession.
We hope your enjoy your puppy for years to come. Shih Tzu's are addictive and it is very common to have more than just one! Please use the food we recommended at the time of purchase. We will be happy to help you with any questions or information you need after your puppy goes home.
Deposits If anyone puts a deposit on a puppy and I hold that puppy for you reguardless how many days and you change your mind. I will not refund your deposit. All deposits are non refundable!! Im sorry but I dont think it is fair to me to hold a puppy for days or even weeks. There are plenty of people out there that are serious about finding a furbaby and they should be able to see all that are available. So please be sure that you really want the puppy and so does your spouse or significant other,also that you can afford and that you are not allergic to said puppy..All I ask is you to be 100% sure you can have and take care of the puppy. This is the reason I take deposits in the first place because it not a game to me.Im trying to find loving forever homes for these babies.
Also if this is a surprise for a loved one, and it dont turn out as planned. I will take the puppy back and find it a new home. I have every right to know where my babies end up.
